As we see this image, we think directly of the old ways that we used to sneak so that we can keep watching people without being seeing or caught, this is voyeurism. As I showed this image to some members to my family, my little brother explained to me that this eye is looking at a naked body and that is why it is hiding behind the door because it doesn’t want to be caught. My mother said that this eye is being indiscrete and looking at something that is supposed to be forbidden. All these explanations tend towards the same concept; voyeurism :)

voyeurism

Voyeurism is the fact of looking at people without being seen, it is a way to enjoy looking at peolple without their awareness. Like when some neighbour starts staring at other neighbours from his or her window without being seen or remarked. It is a way of intrusion in other's life. It is a phenomeon that is very common in several cultures. For example in Morocco sometimes voyeurism is accepted and seen as a cultural fact that is inhereted by generations and not automatically a viscious act of a criminal mind.
